4dim / Connection

Terms of Service

What 4dim commits to providing, what the business commits to upholding — above all on Meta's channels — and what happens when something breaks.

Effective 15 August 2026 · version 1.0 · Versión en español

Who provides the service, and to whom

Connection is provided by Guillermo Arboleda, an individual trading under the 4dimntion brand ("4dim"), based in Medellín, Colombia, reachable at hola@4dimntion.com.

It is provided to businesses — individuals or companies acting in the course of their commercial activity — not to consumers for personal use. Whoever opens the account represents that they have authority to bind the business they act for.

Using Connection means accepting these terms and the data processing policy, which forms part of them.

What Connection is

An inbox and a CRM: it brings together in one place the conversations reaching the business through WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger, orders them by who is waiting for an answer, keeps each contact's record and history, and follows up commercially. It can also propose draft replies, which are never sent without human approval.

Connection is not a Meta product, is not affiliated with Meta, and is neither sponsored nor endorsed by Meta. The channels belong to Meta and operate under Meta's rules.

Account, access and team

The business is responsible for its account credentials and for everything done with them. It adds its own team and assigns roles and permissions; removing access when someone leaves is the business's job. Any suspicion of unauthorised access must be reported immediately to hola@4dimntion.com.

Each business sees only its own data. Attempting to reach another business's data, by any route, ends the service immediately.

The business's obligations on Meta's channels

This is the section that matters most, because breaching it is not punished by 4dim: it is punished by Meta blocking the number or the account, and that has no quick way back. On connecting a channel, the business undertakes to:

  • Comply with the Meta Platform Terms, the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy, the WhatsApp Commerce Policy and the Instagram and Messenger rules, as in force at any given time.
  • Message only those who authorised it or who messaged first. No purchased lists, no unsolicited bulk messaging, no importing contacts who never gave permission.
  • Obtain, record and be able to prove the data processing authorisation required by Colombian Law 1581 of 2012, and immediately honour anyone asking not to be contacted again.
  • Identify itself clearly as the business it is. No impersonating another brand, no passing the service off as something else.
  • Not use the channels for goods or services prohibited by Meta's policies or by Colombian law, nor for deception, fraud, harassment or discrimination.
  • Respect WhatsApp's conversation window and message template rules where they apply.
  • Publish and maintain its own privacy policy towards its contacts: for them, the business is the one accountable.

4dim may suspend a channel or an account, without prior notice, on reasonable indication that these rules are being breached. It is a measure to protect the other clients and the platform access itself, not a discretionary penalty: the reason is explained, and correction is allowed where correction is possible.

Connecting a channel, and authorisation

To connect a channel, the business authorises 4dim to access that Meta account and act on its behalf only for what the service does: receive messages, send them when the business approves them, and read the minimum account data needed to operate the inbox.

That authorisation can be revoked whenever the business wants, by disconnecting the channel in the console or revoking access from its Meta account. On doing so, the credentials are destroyed and Connection stops receiving — and stops being able to send — anything on that channel.

Meta may change its terms, its pricing or its interface, and may limit or suspend a channel on its own. 4dim does not control that and is not answerable for it, but does undertake to give notice and to help work through it.

Automated replies: who answers for what gets sent

Connection may propose a draft reply. A draft does not send itself: it goes out only when a person at the business approves it. That person, and with them the business, answers for the content of what is sent, exactly as if they had written it by hand.

Proposals are generated automatically and can be wrong. They must not be used unread for legal, medical or financial advice, or any matter where a mistake carries consequences. Reviewing before approving is not a recommendation: it is the reason the approval step exists.

The business's data belongs to the business

The contacts, conversations and attachments that enter Connection belong to the business. 4dim does not use them for its own ends, does not sell them, and does not use them to train general-purpose artificial intelligence models. The detail is in the data policy.

The business may request a copy of its information at any time, and also on termination, before anything is erased. It can take its customer base with it; that is part of what is being contracted.

The software, the design and the brand belong to 4dim. Contracting Connection grants the right to use it for as long as the service lasts — not to copy it, resell it, decompile it or offer it as your own.

Price, term and termination

Price, billing period and scope are those agreed in writing with each business on contracting. Any charges Meta levies for sending messages, where they exist, fall outside that price and are borne by the business.

Either party may terminate the service on written notice. 4dim may terminate immediately on breach of section 04, late payment, or use that puts the service or third parties at risk.

On termination: access is closed, the business has 30 days to request its copy, and after that the data is erased from active systems within the periods set out in the data policy.

Availability, warranties and liability

4dim applies reasonable means to keep the service available and to give notice of scheduled downtime, but does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. Parts of the chain are outside its control: Meta's platforms, the network and the infrastructure provider.

4dim is not answerable for: lost profit or lost commercial opportunity; the content of the messages the business approves and sends; blocking or suspension decided by Meta; or failures attributable to third parties or to force majeure. Save for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, 4dim's total liability is limited to what the business has paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to it.

None of this limits rights that Colombian law recognises as non-waivable.

Changes, governing law and contact

These terms may change. Changes are published here with a new effective date, and substantial ones are notified by email to businesses with an active account before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that date is acceptance; anyone who does not accept them may terminate the service without penalty.

Colombian law applies. Differences are to be resolved in good faith between the parties and, failing that, before the courts of Medellín, Colombia.
